A threatening phone call from a stranger, in the middle of the night, is a ghost story archetype. The Phone clips jumper cables to it and flips the switch. Fusing the frantic urgency of cell phones and text messages with the supernatural fear of The Ring, Ahn Byung-gi introduces us to a world where an innocent, if mysterious, phone call can lead very quickly, and even more mysteriously, to death.
