In 1969, a clique of college students on summer break heads to the Korean countryside for their government-mandated voluntary service. Suk-young falls for Jung-on in the warm, lazy afternoons. Summer doesn’t last forever, and the path the young lovers take isn’t the one they’d have chosen for themselves. Decades later, they’re re-tracing their steps back to that summer, hoping to find out just what happened to them.
