Synopsis:
A quick six-pack of animated shorts from Korea’s most innovative cartoonists, If You Were Me draws Korean figures grappling with a universal feeling: being different. Juggling comedy and subtle pathos, the miniature movies cross mediums. Animal Farm uses the jerky elegance of stop-motion photography to convey the dynamics of a bullying mob, while in Flesh and Bone, Amy Lee uses classic 2-D drawings to animate the pent-up frustrations of an ungainly, overweight teen.
